How much time should I allow before my appointment?
We would like you to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time in order to fill out the required paperwork.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Please remember to bring your maternity handheld notes or contact information for your GP and midwife.
Is there a car park?
Yes! It's right outside the studio door - and it's free!

Do I need a full bladder?
A full bladder can often improve image quality so to give us the best chance of obtaining great pictures of your baby, a full bladder is desirable.
How many people can come into the scan room with me?
We have no limit on the number of people as we have a spacious scan room. We will seat as many as we can, and any further guests may stand. Children are welcome!
Who will do my scan?
You will be scanned by a qualified, experienced obstetric sonographer who also works in the NHS.
Will this scan replace my hospital scan?
No. This is a non-diagnostic scan and it is essential you attend your NHS or private antenatal scans.
What if you find a problem during my scan?
If a problem is suspected during your scan, we will advise a course of action to ensure you receive appropriate care.
Is ultrasound harmful to my baby?
There is currently no evidence to suggest that ultrasound is harmful to either mother or baby. For more detailed information regarding ultrasound safety please read the safety statements on the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) website here.
